WORLD POPULATION DAY AT DH Reasi.

Today on11th of july 2025,under the directions from worthy DHS Jammu Dr Hamid zarger, supervision of worthy CMO Reasi Dr Ashraf Kohali, Medical superintendent DH Reasi Dr Gopal Dutt organised world population day,under the theme"Empowering young people to create the families they want in a fair and hopeful world" Different speakers Who spoke on the Occasion were students,DRP PG students, consultants and Medical superintendent who threw light on the ILL effects of increasing trend of population and also discuss various family planning methods to stabilize the population in the coming years,at the end MS Dr Gopal Dutt directed all the concerned staff to organise awareness campaign among the community,and promote temporary and permanent family planning methods during the week from 11th of July 2025 to 18th July 2025,so that we can achieve the required targets towards stabilization of our population for the overall progress and prosperity of the country.

Celebration of 11th international yoga day at DH Reasi,

Today on 21st June 2025 ,under the directions from worthy Director Health services Jammu Dr Abdul Hamid zarger, supervision of worthy CMO Reasi Dr Mohd Ashraf Kohli,Medical superintendent DH Reasi Dr Gopal Dutt organised an event on the eve of international yoga day,under the theme "yoga for one earth,one health"experts threw lights on the importance of YOGA in our day today stress full life,how we can overcome mental stress,and impact of chronic diseases with the help of yoga,It is a bliss for all of us for a long and productive life, as there is an increasing trend of Life style diseases and Chronic disease like, Diabetic,cardiovascular, certain neurological disorder,stress related mental disorders,increasing age related issues,"YOGA"is the only tool with which we can fight with each one of the above-mentioned diseases,So Letus pledge to day to promote YOGA for Healthy and prosperous Life.

World Blood Donor’s Day Celebration at District Hospital Reasi

Today on 14-06-2025, District Hospital Reasi commemorated World Blood Donor’s Day in collaboration with the Red Cross Society Reasi, following the initiatives outlined by the Worthy District Development Commissioner, Reasi. The event was orchestrated under the direction of Dr. Abdul Hamid Zarger, Director Health Services Jammu, and supervised by Chief Medical Officer Reasi, Dr. Mohd Ashraf Kholi. “World Blood Donor’s Day” was organized at District Hospital Reasi based on the theme “Give blood, give hope, together we save lives.” under the guidance of Dr. Gopal Dutt (Medical Superintendent District Hospital Reasi). The program commenced with a warm welcome address. Mr. Rakesh Kumar (JKAS), Worthy Additional Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, was Chief Guest, along with Mr. Kuldeep Khajuria, District Executive Secretary, District Red Cross Society, Reasi, who was Guest of Honor, and Dr. Usha Kiran, District Immunization Officer, Reasi. The event featured engaging presentations by Dr. Aneesha Gupta & Dr. Swati Mahajan, alongside inspiring talks from student speakers from the Government Nursing College Reasi. Mr. Kuldeep Khajuria also shared motivational thoughts related to World Blood Donor’s Day. Dr. Gopal Dutt provided a briefing emphasizing the importance of blood donation, followed by Dr. Usha Kiran, who highlighted important aspects: - An opportunity to express gratitude to voluntary blood donors. - Awareness about the importance of regular donation and the vital role of donors in saving lives and building community bonds. The program was hosted by Smt. Kumari Mamta JSN. At the conclusion, certificates of appreciation were distributed among 25 dedicated blood donors. The program was managed by the Administration of District Hospital Reasi, and concluded with a gathering of attendees including Sh. Naresh Kumar (Senior Pharmacist), consultants, doctors, paramedical staff, volunteers, and staff from District Hospital Reasi.
